WHY I CHOSE MY program
My major is finance, the reason I chose this major is because I felt it gave me the best opportunity to grow as a critical thinker because it was a mix of theory and practical concepts.
There are majors such as marketing where you learn about the 4Ps and how to make a SWOT analysis which is purely theory and on the flip side there are majors such as accounting where you learn how to make balance sheets which is purely practical.
Finance taught me how to read financial statements while taking into account concepts such as the competitive nature of markets and how a company is managed which is a mix of theory and practical work which helped me develop as a critical thinker

Take your time. There is no rush and be sure of what you want whether it be higher education or a trade.

If you can, take ELA 30-1. This single class opens many options with regards to post-secondary options.
