WHY I CHOSE MY program
Initially, I wanted to get a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and go to medical school, however in high school I realized that I was doing better with physics and math, enjoying them equally as much as biology. As such, I decided to study engineering since I wanted to learn more about the applications of physics and math. I chose to not delve into the pure science programs because I was more interested in solving problems and applying concepts rather than study theory. In my second year of engineering, I chose to study mechanical engineering since it seems to be the most interesting and applicable field of engineering to me. Furthermore, I enjoyed the dynamic work and the explicit outcomes that come from mechanical engineering.
