Mechanical Engineering
Minor in Biomedical Engineering
University of Calgary
Schulich School of Engineering
WHY I CHOSE MY program
I chose to go into mechanical engineering because I enjoy building things and it is like the jack of all trades with engineering. I chose biomedical engineering as my minor because , in a way there will always be a demand for it, medical devices and the human body can always be improved. Another part of the reason I went into engineering, specifically mechanical is because Mark Rober, the Hacksmith, Allen Pan all inspired/motivate me to the possibilities within this field. As the stuff they build and create are amazing, such as a real life light saber, snowball machine gun.
